Back in the Delta days, some of the girls would organise a stop-over, usually at Pat's house, the photo attached was one time...we were just mad. We also used to have various nights out, going to night clubs mid-week and still go to work next day, worse for wear of course. I don't know how we got away with some of the stuff we did, it was such fun. I remember the time we were outside the Kings Head pub trying to get a taxi home and Ali flagged down a taxi driver and was speaking very nicely to him to try and coerce him into taking us all home and when he said he couldnt, she suddenly turned into a mad woman and told him in no uncertain terms to 'go forth and multiply'...you know what I mean! The taxi driver's face was a picture. Ali was a fun-loving, witty and generous person. Always cheered you up if you were a bit down and would always help out. There is a special place in my heart for you Ali. I'm sorry we didnt get round to meeting up latterly. You will be sorely missed. Sleep peacefully angel, party on xxx
